In a bustling city where life moved fast,

We found each other, a love built to last.

At a local restaurant, amid laughter and cheer,

Fate stepped in and drew us near.

Luke whisked me away on his Honda Ruckus ride,

With the wind in our hair and hearts open wide.

From that moment on, we never looked back,

Chasing life’s adventures on an endless track.

Cubs games, bike rides along Lake Michigan’s shore,

Hunting for the tastiest food, always craving more.

We’ve sought out beauty, both simple and grand,

In every new place, walking hand in hand.

We’ve called the Midwest, the East Coast,

and now the West our home,

Guided by curiosity and the urge to roam.

Our truck-top camper steered the way,

Leading us to new sunsets at the end of each day.

We push, we grow, we laugh, we strive,

With joy as our compass, we feel most alive.

In every adventure, big or small,

We find each other and that’s the best part of it all.

Now, eight years later, we gather with grace,

Returning to Chicago, our heart’s special place.

Where love first found us in the summer’s bright hue,

We celebrate with those who’ve seen our journey through.

I came to the U.S. from Poland on Luke’s birthday,

A quiet sign, we believe, that God paved the way.

Two paths destined to cross, written in the stars,

Bringing us together with open hearts.

And now, all roads lead us back to Chicago,

Where our story began and our hearts found home.

This city holds our past, our present, and soon,

The beautiful beginning of our forever.
